COVID-19 UPDATE

We are open for Business

Like you, our organization is closely following recommendations of global health organizations as well as local authorities in Zimbabwe to ensure that our response to the Corona-virus outbreak is proportional to the situation.

We hope you and your families are safe and well in these unprecedented times.

In the uncertainty we are facing over COVID-19, we would like to inform you as to how we are handling this ever-evolving situation and how we can best support our customers and business partners.

+ Firstly, safety and well-being are paramount! Our number one priority is the health and well-being of our employees, our families and that of our customers.

+ Since Hilti Zimbabwe team continues to work from home until authorities decide to lift the curfew imposed in our country, you can contact our sales team via phone or email.

+ For any technical queries or requirements, we encourage you to directly contact our engineering team or alternatively go to Ask.Hilti.ae where Hilti experts are available to support you digitally on any technical or engineering questions that you may have.

+ Our Customer hot line remain available to support you at +263-772-453-374  while our website is available around the clock.

+ Our Hilti Store and our Tool Service Center are closed. No repairs can be processed at this time. However we understand the mines and some crucial sectors are still operational and we are able to make arrangements with regards to your collections as we've done over the past couple of weeks.

What steps have Hilti account managers and engineers taken to adapt to the new normal?

Hilti representatives are ready to consult with you virtually or face to face to help improve safety and productivity on your projects. Your safety is our priority so strict hygiene measures will be adopted including the following:

  • + Wear appropriate face masks and PPE at all times during a visit
  • + Maintain social distancing at all times and meet in open spaces when possible
  • + Understand and follow your safety expectations; both on-site and office visits
  • + Clean all tools and equipment with alcohol-based solutions before and after use

We will keep you informed regarding the status of our supply chain as needed and communicate any critical supply issues as soon as they are identified.

If we look out for each other, we can endure these challenges over the coming weeks and months and return as a stronger, more caring industry and country.
